Galaxy Beach Hotel

Arrived 7am after 4 hour drive to hotel,4☆ hotel,I think 2☆at best,greeted by receptionist who looked like he had just woken up,we had disturbed his sleep,we were given different room to number on welcome envelope, the room we were given ,shower leaked,tap wobbled,and no key,we had to go to reception later to get our key,which apparently hadn't been handed in by previous visitor,3 times we asked for key to be told ,come back in half an hour,asked to see manager,his day off apparently, eventually stood our ground and demanded to be moved to room which we booked for,room was actually better than other room,now the rest of the problems Food shocking,no variety, Staff rude very anti English Bar hardly ever open,or a staff member there,closes 12-30 until 14-00,then 17-00 to 17-30,then totally shuts at 22-00,drinks served at half measures,couldn't get tipsy if you wanted to,complained about barman refusing to serve me 8 minutes before was due to close,manager said I will have a word with him .... Pool area disgusting, pool permanently overflowing,2 people fell while we where there,the lady in shop offered to sell one of the fallen women a pair of shoes,so it wouldn't happen again . Beach was pure shail not sand ,one row of sunbeds on the level,the rest on an angle up a90° slope,the lifeguard spent more time trying his luck with any single woman,who wanted to sunbathe,the two older men who ran the beach bar were only decent staff on whole complex. If I was anyone reading this I would genuinely think twice about booking, definitely not 4 star,they only think of locals,Romanian, and Russian visitors, English in my opinion aren't welcome there,avoid at all costs .

On arrival at galaxy beach hotel after a 3 hour transfer (which was not the hotels fault) we arrived at the galaxy beach hotel. We were greeted by a young man who stated that our booked accommodation was condemned and so we were given an upgrade. Good start. We were then instructed (at 4am) we HAD to meet our rep at 10am the next morning to Discuss details which was non negotiable. I guess another sleep deprivation exercise it is for me.

I can honestly say this is the worst holiday I have been on and we travel often ... this is not all inclusive do not get fooled , we have been swore at by staff , refused drinks the foods lovely kitchen staff respectful but beach and hotel bar staff are not welcoming, We have lodged a complaint on our 1st day the bar is closed most of the day can't even charge phones, because unless ur sat in the hotel room it offers no electric and only 1 plug socket which is directly behind the pillows where u sleep Unless u play dead and don't move whilst sleeping it's not remaining on charge If u have booked here u do have to pay for a lot but the beach bar one up from the resort beach bar is incredibly friendly and they are definitely worth visiting , After talking with locals this is apparently the way this hotel operates, pleas think twice before visiting this hotel you pay as tourists to eat drink amd relax and enjoy your holiday this is not the place for any of those things ... Genuinely the worst holiday resort we have visited . And I can't stress enough that when going on holiday this is not the place to enjoy your self Not leaving this review tobe unkind But to purly tell others so that they can book somewhere enjoyable
