Went in with high expectations which were met. The entire spa area is super clean which is just so vital in an establishment that has a massive amount of foot traffic. We enjoyed a day spa where we could sit back and relax and let the world pass us by. The location is superb along the river providing an oasis of tranquility. The waiting staff in spa restaurant, elements, are exceptional and food was wholesome and delicious; a simple but focused menu. The spa culture in Northern Ireland isn’t well understood but at Galgorm they are making slow but positive progress. Compliments goes to Adam on main reception for providing a pure guests focused experience.

Absolutely amazing stay at Galgorm, cottage is much better than hotel. Food at Fratelli's was gorgeous. Spa was over packed and didn't get much use on the Saturday but we used it Sunday morning before checking out. Breakfast in the past has always been the best anywhere I've stayed, it was just good enough this time but not bad enough for poor stay. Overall loved it!!

We recently stayed at Galgorm and, while the setting is undeniably beautiful, our experience didn’t live up to the resort’s reputation or the price point. The biggest issue was the sheer number of flies and wasps everywhere—particularly around the outdoor spa and dining areas. It made it difficult to relax and enjoy what should have been a peaceful escape. The resort also felt overcrowded during our visit. At the swimming pool, there were hardly any available heated stone loungers, and I ended up having to share one with my husband—not exactly the level of comfort we expected from a high-end resort. Cleanliness was another letdown. The bathrooms, both in our room and in the shared areas, were not up to standard. They were not cleaned regularly and had an unpleasant smell, which really detracted from the overall experience. Lastly, we felt the stay was overpriced for what we got. Galgorm has the potential to be an amazing destination, but for the cost, we expected much better maintenance, cleanliness, and guest comfort. We had some nice moments, but overall, the visit fell short of expectations.
