Gallery Prawirotaman Hotel

I have stayed here many times over the years and this time the quality and standard was good, similar to when it first opened. The staff were especially friendly and helpful throughout the hotel from reception to restaurant to the cleaners. Many of them spoke some English. The ac and shower water pressure was excellent. Water refills are available opposite the lifts. Breakfast was tasty and varied . The swimming pool is large and clean and in the sun so is not cold. The hotel is clean throughout but I felt like the floor in my room could have been a little cleaner and the quilt was a bit lumpy in places. Location is excellent. We had a wonderful stay. The Gallery Prawirotaman hotel is an excellent place to stay in Yogyakarta. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The staff are friendly and professional. The food is delicious. The swimming pool is a treat on a hot day. A laundry is directly across the alley. All in all, highly recommended.

Had a comfortable and hassle free stay here. Pool was nice though we did not have time to use it. Restaurant is quite good - vegetarians will need to work with the staff to ensure that their food is suitable. They accommodated our requests for breakfast boxes, which was very good food as well. Good location with the next lane buzzing with restaurants and cafes.
