Galway Bay Hotel Conference & Leisure Centre

We had our wedding in Galway Bay hotel 2 weeks ago and we cannot fault a single thing. The whole experience from start to finish was impeccable. Louise and the staff there are incredibly professional. The service and the meal was the best we’ve experienced. They pulled out all the stops and even had some lovely surprises for us on the day. Everyone who attended was so impressed. Galway Bay made the day so special for us. Thank you so much for everything!

The Galway Bay hotel was clean and convenient. It was a leisurely walk to the Medieval Latin Quarter. The staff was very kind and accommodating. They even helped our large group prepare our breakfast containers quickly so that we could arrive at next destination on time. I highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed at the Galway Bay Hotel for 2 nights and left struggling to understand the 4 star rating awarded to it. The room, although large was basic, no air con, no mini fridge, no room service menu. The little touches you would expect in a 4 star. The decor is bland, the furniture dated. Our room was hot and airless, the windows could only be opened slightly before the safety locks kicked in. At one point I left the room door open in the hope of getting some air flow. Not what you expect to have to do in a 4 star. Towels are thick and fluffy but were rationed with only one hand towel between 2 adults Beds are comfortable. Breakfast was basic, not fantastic.
