We stayed at Gamirasu Junior as a couple and thanks to a recommendation of my friend who stayed there before. We travelled from the States to visit places in our home country. The location is remote, so you most certainly need a car to go around, however this is the case for any location in Cappadocia though, you need a car. When you have it, just drive wherever you wanna go and stay wherever you want. We specifically wanted this tranquility so it was a win-win for us. Rooms serve you more than what promised! The hotel itself as explained by the operator gentleman was carved out from an old village house and this surprised me because I thought it was originally built as a hotel. The renovation team and the designers did a fabulous job. I'm happy with this experience compared to some other overrated and over priced places in the region.

It's hard to say whether I can recommend this place. The hotel is about 20 km from Göreme. Maybe I was just unlucky with my room. The room itself looked very okay, but it had a few problems. 1. The TV didn't work. 2. The whirlpool was broken (the side panel was loose and wobbled back and forth). 3. A pipe from the whirlpool was broken, and our entire room was under 2 cm of water. 4. A wire glowed red in the toilet area. We raised the issue, and the hotel manager said that if we considered staying another night, he could give us an upgrade for an additional €50 (meaning the room had cost €100, and we would have gotten an upgrade for €150). We found that very cheeky and absolutely unacceptable.
