This location was perfect for our needs. Access the the hotel can be a bit confusing. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The one negative is that the walls are thin. We could hear talking in the hall and toilets flushing in surrounding rooms.
We arrived late at night & frankly there wasn’t any other option to choose from at this point. We stayed for two nights. The room was outdated & not so clean. The rooms the staff showed us all had a strange smell - like old, wet mold. We got complimentary coffee on the first night but not anymore after that. The amenities of the hotel were pretty basic & not maintained or clean. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Colima. Not great value for money & super overpriced for what you get in return.
I recently stayed at the Gamma Hotel in Colima, and my experience was deeply disappointing. From the moment I interacted with the front desk, I encountered a series of issues that made my stay unnecessarily stressful. Despite booking directly through your website, the front desk initially refused to adjust my reservation when I needed to cancel one night due to a delayed meeting. Although they eventually complied after I insisted, it was a challenging and unnecessary ordeal. When I arrived early the next day, I offered to pay for an early check-in, only to be told no rooms were available. However, they then attempted to charge me extra for a higher-quality room and additional early check-in hours, which felt deceptive. Exhausted and needing rest, I agreed to pay. Additionally, I found the staff’s behavior misleading regarding the elevator. I was told it was out of service and instructed to use the stairs, even though the elevator was indeed functioning. This kind of dishonesty is unacceptable. On the day of my departure, I accidentally left my iPad in the safe and called ahead with the safe code, asking for it to be ready to expedite my departure. Despite this, the front desk delayed me further by serving other guests before handing over my belongings, even though I was in a hurry to catch my flight. Overall, the service was unprofessional and unaccommodating. I will not be staying at your hotel again and will not recommend it to others.
