Gangnam Family Hotel

5+star hotel. Unbelievably good breakfast. Has an optimally equipped kitchen, washing machine. Hospitality of the hotel staff is off the charts. They showed us what KOREAN hospitality is. Hotel itself is located in Gangnam, with a very good view of Seoul from the room. Cherished every moment spent in the hotel.

Okay I think the most important thing that no one tells you is their front desk operator is only available from 9am-9pm! So if you arrive later than that, the best western next door has your room key so don’t panic/ Hotel has a full kitchen with a fridge. Everyday they stock your room with four water bottles. Room is cleaned daily, and people wear masks in the shared facility. Room is big enough and definitely 5 stars for the price: however, interior of room is a little run down with paint chips and water damaged ceilings

The location was good for us, and for the area it's on the cheaper side, and the bed set up suits families. But the hotel is showing it's age, though the room was clean and tidy, other aspects were showing that it's an older hotel. One of the first things I noticed is the outside photos of the hotel are Photoshop, as there's a tall newer hotel right next door, looks very nice, but it's twice the price. We had a nice stay, but my wife was not that impressed with the hotel, but for me as long as it's clean and the beds comfortable, is what matters.
