Gangneung Chonpines Ocean Suites Hotel

Great hotel...room was clean and very spacious. Had 2 rooms with balcony. We had city view but there is almost nothing in front of our room...just open farm fields. Highly recommended this hotel. Daily water bottles and clean towels...had to tell them to give us new towels. 😆 Location is away from the downtown but nice & quiet. Not much to see except ocean views. Many restaurants but mostly seafood restaurants...don't have many choices except seafood. Currently all the facilities are closed in the hotel...on location restaurant, pool, and especially BBQ areas...BBQ areas are very well constructed. Each area has tent cover so you would be too cold by the sea breeze. I was very disappointed that we couldn't use the facility. Would like to come back to use the BBQ facility next time. Didn't take the photos of the room but they look almost same as what they show on the web...even better.

Really nice rooms, clean and spacious. Unfortunately the pool/BBQ area is not available 😔 so better check when it will open if that is important for you

We lodged in October of 2024. The hotel was not fully operational, with some sections still undergoing construction. Despite this, the room rates were favorable. While the breakfast was slightly expensive, it offered a wide range of options. The room itself was complete but lacked certain amenities such as an iron, cutlery, and plates. This was not a significant inconvenience as we primarily dined out during our stay. The location was somewhat remote, necessitating taxi transportation. However, there was a bus stop nearby. The hotel staff was exceptionally courteous and accommodating. The establishment provided convenient access to the beach, along with an on-site arcade and convenience store. Overall, our stay was highly satisfactory.
