Garden City Resort

Great location, friendly staff, wonderful amenities and amazing hospitality. We had a wonderful stay at Garden City for our honeymoon. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was spacious and well appointed with comfortable furnishings and with a view of the pool area. Staff were attentive and friendly, providing us with great recommendations for food and beaches nearby. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety and choice, catering to all dietary requirements. Location was central with a short walk to the beach, restaurant and shops. I cannot fault this hotel and would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Kalamata. We also received a small gift from the owner which was a lovely gesture. We will be back!!! Thank you

Wonderful and lovingly small hotel with a good location to Kalamata and plenty of parking spaces in a separate private parking lot about 20m away from the hotel. All wishes were taken into account and since there were few guests at our time 06/2025, we always got loungers by the pool and also direct places for breakfast by the water. The receptionists speak good English and even German. The value for money is excellent and we felt very comfortable! :)

Think twice before booking here. It may be labeled a 5-star hotel, but when it comes to flexibility and service, it doesn’t even deserve a 1-star. We had a reservation we couldn’t attend due to a change in travel plans with our two young children. We reached out three weeks in advance, during peak season when rooms are in high demand, to cancel. Despite repeated requests, the hotel refused to cancel or offer any refund—we were told we must pay the full amount. This lack of understanding and customer care was extremely disappointing. We expected much more from a hotel of this level.
