A lovely hotel with all the facilities. Clean, beautiful and very well equipped. The lobby looks luxurious, the breakfast was delicious and varied, the elevator was super smooth and most importantly, the room was neat, comfortable and lovely. We had a beautiful view to the garden. Important plus: the Tram was very near to the hotel (5 minutes walking). Thank you for the lovely stay.

Charming Garden, Great Location – But Some Disappointments We recently stayed at Garden Hotel Michelangelo for 3 nights and had a mixed experience. The positives first: The hotel has a lovely garden, a real highlight — peaceful, shady, and ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location is excellent, with easy access to the city and surrounding areas. The breakfast was quite good, offering a decent variety and fresh products to start the day right. However, a few details left us disappointed: The use of carton cups at breakfast and in the room, and plastic glasses in the bathroom, felt quite out of place for a hotel of this category. We noticed dirt behind the bathroom mirror, which suggested that the cleaning could be more thorough. 1 light bulb1 was missing in the room, creating a rather dim and unfinished feeling. We experienced recurring issues with the safe, which twice had battery problems during our short stay. The windows could not be opened without stuff support, which made the room feel stuffy and deprived of fresh air. And surprisingly, upon checkout, no one asked how our stay was – a small gesture that usually makes a big difference and shows care for guest satisfaction. Overall, the hotel has potential, especially thanks to its beautiful garden and prime location. But to create a truly pleasant guest experience, attention to detail and customer care need improvement.

I recommend to be careful and not to rely on the cancellation policy displayed during booking and in the booking confirmation. It said I was allowed to cancel up to 1 day before arrival. No time of day was mentioned. I relied on that and canceled the day before, but nevertheless my credit card was charged. The answer was that I was in penalty time because I should have canceled before 15 hrs even though I was not notified about that important detail. I did not find that information anyhwere on during booking or on the web page. I asked where I should have known that from, but never got an answer. I would look for another hotel in Venice, there are plenty of them.
