Garlands del Rio Riverside Boutique Hotel

The nicest welcome I've experienced at a hotel! Great location in the Romantic zone, walking distance to everything in the area. The rooms on the river get the smooth jazz that drifts over from the restaurant across the way. Birds and iguanas in the trees. Friendly resident kitties. Super unique and eclectic hotel, each room is different and lovely. The staff are so nice and helpful. Since we booked direct with them, we got breakfast included, great selection of delicious options. So many great places to eat nearby. Recommend the pastor (trompo) taco cart out the front door and to the right in the evening and Taco mi Esperanza a couple blocks away earlier in the day. Also, a visit to the sister hotel's rooftop bar at sunset is recommended! (2 drink min)

A real gem boutique hotel. We upgraded our 1 king room. Wound up with top floor. Plenty of stairs. Nice veranda overlooking the river. Location served well as a base for our 5 day trip. Zona Romantica and boardwalk were a delight too. I want to make special note of Martha and Roberto. They both were a delight, informative, and helpful.

This is a great and amazing hidden place in the middle of the Romantica zone. The service was fantastic and the staff were so friendly and kind:) Sonya and Ivan, help us to find a nice places around and the best spots for the beach area. The most important thing is that the rooms are large and the setting is like something out of an Agatha Christie work. There is a restaurant with live music across the street, which adds romance and charm to your stay at the hotel. I highly recommend it!!!
