Great value for money! 24/7 check-in, super tidy and clean rooms, perfect business travel location directly opposite the train station and very very friendly staff- especially the lady at the reception. :)

We stayed here for 2 nights. Parking is tricky. You can park on the streets or you can park at covered parking lots. Nearest is QPark Gildehof 12€ per day/night. Not sure how much is the street parking. One very helpful staff worth mentioning is a caucasian lady, I wasn't able to get her name unfortunately. Long blonde hair and very fit. She was very helpful, polite and pleasant. Rooms were spacious. We had a Queen premium. Basic needs all provided. 5th floor had a good view of the Essen train station. It was quiet however, because of the road construction, you could hear the machines in the day. Sometimes there's ambulance sirens here and there but no loud music or your neighbor 's noise. Bed was firm and comfortable. Bathroom was also very spacious. Best thing about this hotel is the location. It is close to major shopping, transportation and food. So many good restaurants around! Plus this hotel is not expensive. Breakfast was also good! Thanks for making our stay nice!

I can recommend this hotel. Located in the middle of everything :) Very easy communication with other parts of the city. Hotell little "old fashioned" due to its age but everything is ok. Quality and price is affordable :)
