My partner and I needed a place to stay to break up our long journey from Scotland to Wales. The hotel was in a very convenient location just off the M6, we were able to check in with ease at 3am due to the 24hr reception. Bedroom was perfect, nice big comfy bed with fresh sheets and lovely soft pillows. The bathroom was lovely, nice powerful shower and a great array of nice soaps, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, body and hand lotion etc which all smelt divine. Service was excellent, friendly staff who were happy to help and brought oat milk to the bedroom on request within 5 min. Thanks lovely team!
We dropped in unannounced. We were a party of 8 adults. Early afternoon drinks from the bar. Stayed for 1:30hrs... Welcoming staff. Table service. Very quiet.
The hotel is an older however, freshly renovated. The room i had was spacious very clean and newly equipped. Food selection in the restaurant and for breakfast was sufficient, but of very good quality. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The place is in between of Preston and Blackburn in the countryside. For business travelers a good spot, for sightseeing a bit limited. Bottomline, a very good and fairly priced hotel.
