Garni Hotel Aleksandar

Price/quality unmatched. It has everything one could ask for in a hotel, from included breakfast to a gym and very spacious rooms. Parking behind the hotel under a roof included as well, which is great although due to the pillar the spots are quite tight to get in and out of.

On first glance, decor of room was modern and good. However, on closer inspection, was dirty. The only room service is towels and bins emptied every other day. The room was in more need of cleaning with being used. When I asked reception for a clean to be done, nothing was done. Reception staff are unhelpful. Food in restaurant was samey and breakfast awful. Ended up eating out. Fortunately close to beach and lovely walk to old budva Town which is gorgeous. Lots of new hotels being built will give this hotel a run for its 3 star rating. Should be 2 stars only. Have to pay to use gym and cannot get drinks at pool cafe if all inclusive. Staff need to go on a customer services course and learn manners. Not even a goodbye, thanks for your stay on leaving. Would not recommend this hotel.

We came here as a group with an 11 years old kid(team) Staff was something I never experince in my life telling the kids TO SHUT UP otherwise they will be kicked out of hotel. After 7 o'clock it smells in the whole hotel with smoke as they allow smoking in bar and keep the door open I would not advise anyone with kids to stay in this disgusting hotel, If they dont want kids in the hotel, they should mention not to take the money and after to feel like in the prison where people cannot speak, laugh or ask something without feeling the disgust of the staff. Food was with hair inside, i personaly experienced in 2 dishes and showed to the front desk manager Ivana (the one she dare to tell kids to SHUT UP) I am not sure on what criteria this hotel have 4 starts and 9.1 on Booking.com They should definately change
