Garni Hotel Kaltenbach

Stopped over at Hotel Kaltenbach on two occasions during a motorbike trip to Italy. Fantastic food and drinks, lovely rooms and a truly beautiful location. Melanie is a superb host too! Planning another stop over at Hotel Kaltenbach later this year 😎

We booked 4 people suite for one night. It's surprisingly big and 2 separate rooms. Beautiful balcony, big toilet, wardrobe, dinning table n chairs, TV, fridge and a beautiful yellow theme in the room. Seems to be a family business and most Staffs are very friendly and supportive. Breakfast is ok with usual options. We can get hot beverages and eggs as well at table. The highlight of this hotel is the warm indoor swimming pool (Water as well as the indoor area is heated), jacuzzi, outdoor pool, athu steam bath area with 3 rooms for some treatments, a massage area and a tanning machine as well. Only thing is its open from 7am to 7pm only, so need to plan our time better. One area to improve is to have some additional routes to make Internet experience better for customers. Currently wifi is very weak in different areas of room and property. Overall a wonderful location to stay. Plz like if the review was helpful.

Everything closes way early, like sauna closed after 7 pm, dinner food order impossible after 5 pm, bar closes at 8 pm etc. Breakfast with 3 day old hard bread etc Looks like 2 persons have to run it all. The toilet in my room (19) was sqeezed between the bathtub and shower glass, really impossible to sit on :( (luckily we could use another room) WIFI is not very good throughout the hotel, except near the office. Credit card payment was not accepted (cash of EU bank card only) so we had to hustle to get the bill paid. :( ,(Auf nie wieder sehen here)
