Garni Hotel Kruso

We had a deeply disturbing experience at this hotel. Four underage boys were staying here (the hotel was aware of this and gladly accepted them and our money), and in the middle of the night (around 2 AM), the hotel manager, Aleksandra, disturbingly enough a member of the owner’s family, totally hysterical and psychotic, attempted to evict them because another guest complained about noise (just talking and laughing). She screamed at them, gave them 15 minutes to pack, so she can kick them out on the street, claimed police were waiting in the lobby (they weren't), and even threatened to throw their belongings off the balcony. She refused to speak with any of the parents, even when contacted by phone, and tried to remove the children without informing or involving legal guardians. This is not only irresponsible but illegal, especially in dealing with minors. Needless to say the kids and all of us, hundreds of miles away were, shocked and terrified. After pressure, the kids were allowed to stay only until 11 AM and then were forced out. The hotel refused to refund the rest of the prepaid stay. Absolutely unacceptable behavior from staff, unsafe for families, and a shocking lack of professionalism or responsibility. Avoid this hotel at all costs, especially if you're traveling with children or teens.

Good points Location is great for resting near airport, parking available and decent breakfast. Bad points - Not 4* clean, dead and live bugs (pictures attached) - Not allowed to iron, have to pay extra per item to the hotel to iron clothes (charged for basics like water) - Terrible vfm at £140+/night given the above - Sauna and gym closed at 8pm (which wasn’t advertised on description), looked basic from outside

WiFi is unusable, shower is cold, AC was in living room and not bedroom - overall way too overpriced for what you get
