Garreg Ddu is an exceptional cottage for the way it has been renovated. All modern fixtures and fittings but keeping the rustic feel. A really nice place to stay with an attentive owner, making sure you have everything for your stay. The cottage is ideal to use as a base for exploring North Wales and the attractions further a field. Pubs (no food available), cafes, takeaways, and Coop all within walking distance of the cottage. A number of food serving pubs approx 25 mins drive away.
Booked this place for a few days midweek. Got lucky with the weather. The host really went out of her way to make sure we had all the information even before we arrived. There are maps and little tips. Any issues she is just a message away. The shower is unreal. Bed super comfy and plenty of space. Quite little road too so you can sit outside the front and have a cuppa without being disturbed by traffic. Would recommend for anyone coming to north Wales and will for sure stay again
