Gartons Cape

We stayed at Garton Cape in Ahangama back in December 2019, and it was such a memorable experience for our whole family. The food was absolutely delicious, every meal was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. One of the highlights was enjoying our meals with the stunning sea view right in front of us. The atmosphere was so peaceful, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We had a great time relaxing together as a family and truly enjoyed every moment. Would definitely love to go back someday!

We stayed in garden suit room. Very spacious and had great view. The pool, private beach are great. The view is also super good. We really enjoyed staying here for 3 nights. The breakfast is not good. The options are limited and the whole setup is kinda messed up. They should definitely improve this. The location of the hotel is not great. We rented a scooter so it was ok for us but otherwise you would have to rent a tuk tuk to go to nearby hoods ( Ahangama or Weligama) or famous beaches. There was a small grocery store near by but we didn’t try that, we always went to the big super market by scooter it takes 5 min

This place posting saying 5 🌟. I don't want to give even a 1 star for this place. Upstairs dinning area is so hot. Owner of the place (English owner) gets a dinning table close to the air - conditioner. He have a reserved sign on table for all 3 meals. After 9 no hot water for shower, trying to ring the front desk and found out phone connection is not connected. Gym is smelly and only had a treadmill and a bike. It's rusted and might be from 1970. but online shows different pictures. Please owner take that pictures down. False information. Manger never asked how is our stay, receptionist don't know much English and didn't know much information about the hotel to explain to us any questions we had. Wish I can post pictures to prove the photos.
