Garza Blanca Preserve Resort & Spa

My family and I stayed here many years ago and we still have fond memories of the place - probably the first vacation back then that truly blew us away. We were upgraded to an oceanfront 3 bedroom suite and I still remember the kindness that the staff exuded. They remembered our breakfast order and had our green juice ready at the table as soon as we were seated!

There’s so much to say about this place. But if you asked me for a quick overall opinion, I’d say—it’s an amazing place to stay. Why? Because we chose the all-inclusive option, and honestly, it made everything so convenient. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all included—we didn’t have to pay anything extra. The food was delicious, and the service from the staff was top-notch. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. In that sense, I’d say the experience was excellent. But here’s the flip side: As great as all-inclusive is, it can also keep you from experiencing the real culture of Mexico. When everything is right there at the hotel, you might not feel the need to explore the city, meet local people, or taste authentic street food. It’s easy to miss out on the rich culture, vibrant energy, and real beauty of Mexico beyond the resort walls. So, while I loved the comfort, I also wish I had spent more time getting to know the place and its people. As I think more, I'll update it.

Sadly, our stay was too short! We stayed 4 nights and wished we had booked an entire week. The room was spacious, ocean view with snacks and chilled drinks ready every day. The pool service was excellent. We had our personal concierge who made our dinner reservation for the nights we had dinner and helped book outside excursions. I can’t say enough good things about Garza Blanca. The staff was courteous and very attentive! We will definitely be back!
