First time here and I’ll be back! Great girls weekend at Gateway Canyon Resort. We are all Colorado natives and enjoyed this special place in our state! Beautiful scenery, grounds and amenities! We really enjoyed the poolside bingo night and we even won an ATV tour for our group which was amazing! Our guide Dylan was super fun and knowledgeable about the area! Only downside is the food options. It is limited and expensive. Since there are not any places close to the resort, a few more choices for quick bites would be welcomed! Looking forward to our next adventure here in 2026
This is a great resort! Very clean! Rooms were quiet and comfortable, the landscape is absolutely stunning, and the food and drinks were tasty. Lots of activities around the resort. Multiple pools. We went on a morning hike and didn’t have to drive to the trailhead. We will definitely stay here again!
This resort really is a hidden gem. Tucked into the intersection of several towering mesas and canyons, you truly feel like you've escaped the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The property is huge, but only boasts 72 rooms. Even on the busiest day, you feel like you have the place to yourself. The staff were all incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, particularly at the spa. They must take a lot of pride in their work because the resort is very well maintained. Their attention to detail is evident everywhere. Everything has its downside. Gateway Canyons Resort's is it's hidden fees and taxes that show up on the bill. If you book a treatment at the spa, expected it to end up costing 50% more than the sticker price. We had a couple surprises on the bill at the end of our stay, the most irksome being a surprise gratuity from breakfast. They already add a $10 room service charge and automatic 18% gratuity. Ours had an additional $10 gratuity that wasn't anywhere on the receipt that we signed. My guess is they add it to every breakfast. With all the other taxes and fees, our breakfast bill nearly doubled. The price of the rooms felt reasonable and was the main reason we chose to stay here. The final bill was the reason we don't plan to come back.
