Gateway Coonoor

I had a truly delightful stay at Gateway Coonoor. The property is charming, peaceful, and beautifully maintained, offering the perfect blend of heritage elegance and modern comfort. The staff was courteous and attentive, making the experience even more memorable. A special mention to Mr. Marshal, the pianist, whose soulful music in the evenings added a magical touch to our stay. His talent and warmth created such a calming ambiance, and listening to him play was a highlight of our time there. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. I look forward to visiting again!

What an amazing experience at Gateway Coonoor it was! Would want to come back again and soon. All the hosts from the chefs to the waiters to the cleaners to the gardeners to even the security don't miss to greet you whenever you pass by. I want to mention Ms.Theresa, Mr. Satish, Ms. Jhilik, all the waiters at the restaurant, all the chefs and all the others whose names I don't remember sadly have been extremely warm towards us throughout our stay. They all have looked into every tiny detail to make us feel comfortable. A big shout out to all of them. They saw to it that we carry this memory with us forever by handing over a picture of ours (framed) to us. Once again thank you everyone for making this very memorable for us.

Had a fantastic stay at The Gateway! Typical Taj quality that you can rely on. Excellent on-field staff as usual but the personnel in the reception could have been more attentive/caring. Manager also seemed a little scatterbrained and not very welcoming. Great location inside of Coonoor and overall a very good stay.
