A Cozy Haven at Gaustablikk Resort We thoroughly enjoyed the lounge area at Gaustablikk Resort — a beautifully designed space that perfectly balances modern Nordic elegance with warm, rustic charm. The high wooden ceilings, soft lighting, and inviting furniture create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for unwinding after a day in the mountains. Whether sipping a drink by the bar or enjoying a quiet conversation, the lounge feels both luxurious and homely. Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort and style in the heart of nature.

A really nice hotel, the food was excellent, the staff was very nice and what a location. And, I slept the whole night, the beds are insannaly good-Thumbs up. I really would like to go back😁

Beware of unexpected charges at checkout! We were charged for daily breakfasts we didn't eat simply because the hotel doesn’t check room numbers for people attending the buffet. When we requested a refund, the concierge refused, saying it would be “our word against theirs” because they don't check room numbers for the buffet. We had prepaid for the room, and at no point during booking or check-in were we provided details for the breakfast or informed that it would be charged regardless of whether we ate it or not. Very disappointing that the hotel's failures to communicate become charges for their guests - the hotel needs to be far more transparent about its charges. I can't recommend and won't be back!
