From the moment we were greeted until our departure, the hospitality at this hotel was truly exceptional. The atmosphere was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home throughout our entire stay. Our room was very spacious and spotless, offering the utmost comfort. We stayed from Friday to Sunday, and the hotel kindly offered us a late check-out, which allowed us to enjoy a full day of skiing before we left. However, what truly stood out during our stay was the dining experience. When we arrived in Pitztal, we were focused on skiing, but after experiencing the dinners at this hotel, I’m not sure if skiing was the highlight anymore! The food was simply outstanding, and the local wine selection was exceptional. We now look forward to returning—not just for the wonderful location and the friendly staff, but also to relive this fantastic gastronomic journey. A special thank you to the chef and the entire team for making every dinner a memorable experience and for making our vacation so special.
Stayed at sonnblick for a 5 day skicourse with alpine welten. It was great pleasure. The hotel is modern equipped and the renovated rooms are great (there are still some none renovated ones). The staff is as friendly and hospitable as you can wish. And the food is excellent. There is also a great sauna in the basement. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here. The only small negative I can come up with is that there is not much to do in the immediate vicinity and you need a short bus ride to the skilift. But the bus stop is just in front of the hotel.
I was booked in here as part of Ski Club GB group. The room spacious and fully satisfactory, especially for one person! The food was some of the best that I have experienced in the Alps. All of our group was impressed. The wine selection, especially the Austrian wines, was tremendous and good value. Well done Jonathan! We tried a broad range over 7 nights. The wellness centre, sauna etc was ideal for tired bodies after a long day of off-piste skiing. I hope to return next year.😀
