When I first arrived at Geo Resort and Hotel, I was truly impressed by its beautiful design — it instantly gave me a “wow” feeling. To my pleasant surprise, that feeling only grew within minutes of settling into my room. The room came with all the essential amenities I’d expect from quality accommodation, which was great. However, I couldn’t help but notice quite a number of signs on the walls stating RM200 fines for various matters. While I understand the need for rules, I personally felt it would have been nicer to present them in a warmer, more welcoming way. Breakfast was simple but enjoyable, and since it wasn’t too crowded during my visit, it felt quite comfortable — in fact, it exceeded my expectations. Overall, Geo Resort and Hotel offers stylish surroundings and good value for money. While there are many great options in Genting, I’m glad I chose to stay here, and I’d recommend it to others looking for a pleasant stay.

When I first stepped into Geo38 Residence, I was impressed by the look of the place — it gave me a “wow” feeling. Unfortunately, that feeling vanished within minutes of settling into the room. There were no basic amenities provided — not even towels, which is the bare minimum you’d expect from any accommodation. Instead of being treated like a guest, I felt more like a prisoner. Every wall had signs warning about RM200 fines for the most trivial things. It created a very uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere. The real breaking point was the breakfast. I had paid an extra RM100 for it, expecting at least a decent spread. To my shock, the buffet had only four basic, cold items — absolutely not worth the money. It was beyond disappointing and showed just how poor the management and service are. Overall, this place is all style and zero substance. I would never recommend staying here — there are far better options in Genting that actually value their guests.

We stayed one night at Hotel Geo in Genting Highlands and had booked through Trip.com. Unfortunately, despite paying a considerable amount, our experience was very disappointing. We had requested a quiet room, but the noise from the road, including cars and motorbikes, was so loud it felt like we were sleeping right on the street. For two guests, there was only one small bottle each of shampoo, conditioner, and soap provided. We had also made a special request for room decoration at the time of booking, but upon arrival, we were told we should have informed the hotel three days in advance and paid RM250. We explained that we had received a confirmation email, but the staff simply said, “We don’t know who sent you that email.” One of the most unpleasant aspects was the bedding — the sheets didn’t seem properly clean. I experienced intense skin itching throughout the night while using the bed sheets, and the itching stopped only after I avoided contact with them. That was very uncomfortable. Overall, we did not have a good impression of the hotel’s service. Even the breakfast was very basic and not up to the standard expected of a five-star hotel. I truly hope the hotel management will take these concerns seriously and provide services that reflect the price charged and meet guests' expectations.
