Location is excellent. Rooms are decent, but lack of a fridge or a bar is very noticeable in hot summer. Pool is a bonus. Food in the restaurant is actually very good, but breakfast time had to be individually prearranged every day, which was quite inconvenient. No complaints about service.

Very rude staff. Our first experience upon entering the bathroom was the unflushed toilet of the previous guest (I won't go into details, but it was BAD). We called the reception for help, and they hung up after telling us they'd send someone over. No one came for about an hour or so. We had to call them again, and the manager came after another half an hour to "check the toilet". However, once he actually came, he refused to even go into the bathroom and told us that we'd get another room. Since we already had a bad "first impression", we politely asked the manager if he'd at least check the bathroom of the new room, which he refused. Because of our heavy luggage, we decided to stay in our room and asked for the cleaning staff to come by. Surprise, surprise, they didn't have any at that moment (it was 4pm). In the end, we had to scrub the toilet ourselves. The only good thing about this hotel was the location. That is, if you're a huge fan of Stalin (his museum is quite literally next-door). Wouldn't come here again.

The best in town - but that’s not saying much. Dated rooms. Sheets reek of Febreeze fabrics freshener. Noisy hallways. If you have another option, take it.
