In my opinion, GP is one of the best hotels on the Black Sea coast of Georgia. For many years, they have consistently maintained a top-level standard, delivering exceptional quality and service. Without a doubt, it truly deserves its 5-star rating
Place was clean , beautiful on the beach, lovely staff, nightly piano playing was beautiful
Total disappointment. The hotel is a disaster. not recommended for families. My family used to come here every summer, and i am sure we will not come here again. Whoever marked this as a 5 star hotel, can easily mark it as 20 star. In fact it is poorly maintained, maybe 4 star at max. Rooms. There are visible marks of previous flooding, the floor is uneven. Our balcony has a broken side glass to the neighbors. There is zero soundproofing in the rooms. You can hear all the neighbors and not only them. Every second day there is a party/ wedding on the top floor. Even though its a few floors from us, we could hear the basses all the time. Kids could not sleep till late because of that. Im writing it as we listen to the bass of the party at 11 pm. Screenshot of the noise level inside the room is attached. Restaurant. Breakfasts are always the same and far from good. The only remark is the lady doing the omelette/ eggs is mastering it. Juices dont feel fresh and coming from actual fruits. If you want to go for half board, dinner is additional 80 lari per person. In Georgian cuisine terms this money is enough for a proper restaurant dinner. Here you get blunt and mostly the same food. Beach. This is a stone beach, not maintained, not cleaned, so you need to be careful - our son found a piece of old bulb, plastic fork/bottles and other usual 5 star hotel stuff. The security checks that people from outside dont enter the beach area, but the sweet corn traders and beggars apparently find their way through. jet ski and boat banana riders roam around, very close to the shore, so instead of sea breeze you occasionally inhale some good old gasoline fume. Pricing. Is not expensive- it is ridiculous for what you get. P.s. swimming pools are fine, when not crowded. Mini golf is ok, but not close to the level of a proper mini golf if you tried it. Kids are not allowed. Turkish coffee stand in the bamboo grave is nice. Nature around and views are really beautiful. That is probably it.
