Geranion Village

We spent a week here on vacation and were very satisfied. We were so happy with our stay that we wished we had booked for a longer period, and we felt quite sad when it was time to leave. 🥲 What can I say – everything was truly spotless, the food was incredibly delicious, and while not all, most of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The only thing that was a bit challenging was the hilly paths, especially with our 15-month-old baby who has only been walking for a few months. But overall, we had a very peaceful, quiet, and relaxing holiday. Everything was just wonderful

Wonderful food, spacious clean room, lush and green environment. Staff friendly and helpful. Local beaches are stunning, accessible by foot if you use the small local back roads. Lucky to have wonderful, sunny weather in October. Geranion Village hotel has all the elements needed for a relaxing, luxurious retreat.

Stayed there for 8 days in early September 2020. Booked mainly because of good reviews on Google. However I cannot confirm these. Under consideration of Corona related measures I don't see how the Geranion Village was granted a 4* rating - Athen's hotels of the same category are really top notch. Location: Out of Nikiti, you definitely need a car. And here's the problem. If you want to eat out, you have to drive back. Walking is not recommended. Room: Basic and outdated furniture. I really miss my wine red fake leather chair - not! More modern rooms are available though. Room was clean. Good view from the balcony. Poor WiFi in the room, gets really bad after 6 pm. Good aircon. Ultra hard beds. Bathroom: Renovated, looks good. Only the stench from the sewer system was really bad. I think they missed to install a siphon. Yard: Well maintained, nice pool, very good chairs. Enough parking space available Food: Thank God, I only booked breakfast! Everyday the same low quality food. Service was lame and not very friendly. For the room price a no-go. Staff: Mostly friendly. The youngers more than the elders. It was OK to stay there for a week if you have a car. But I would not come back again.
