Stopped in for a lunch after viewing the geysers from across the street. Didn’t expect such a nice dining experience. The food was nicely prepared and flavors good. Much better than expected in a fairly remote area.

This review is based on the delicious restaurant. The Geysir Restaurant was an outstanding place. The atmosphere was modern, luxurious, and authentic just as the food was. Everything had a unique display and taste. You will almost never taste anything as great and luxurious as this. From appetizers to deserts this food was a world of flavor. Flavor and artistry was ingrained in the food and this place deserves a Michelin Star or 5.

Junior suite: spacious, clean, fantastic huge bathroom in cool interior design, super comfy beds, leaves absolutely nothing to be desired. However: the breakfast buffet is a bit disappointing- not because the food is bad but once the horde of coach travelers (like locusts) have had their share there's hardly anything left though the staff give their very best to fill up. Maybe the hotel management should reevaluate the logistics or hire more staff. Dinner, though, was amazing.
