Very mixed feelings about this hotel… ➕ - clean rooms, - very nice and polite staff, - variety lunch and supper - in accordance to the size of the facility and the number of guests. ➖ - very poor WiFi signal, - house keeping didn’t leave shower gel each day - I had to ask for it on the reception desk, - monotonous breakfasts - the same every day, - the paint on the bottom of the pool is chipped (as in the photo) - this may cause injury to a person who is in the pool.
Stay away from this place! There is no WI-FI. It is specified that it is only available in public spaces. But it doesn't even work at the reception. It is specified that it only works on the iPhone with a qr code, but the reality is that there is no internet connection. A fee of 9 euros per person per day must be paid for access to the beach and towels. Even if you do not go to the hotel beach, this fee must be paid. At the time of picking up the towels, a guarantee of 10 euros is charged for each towel, in cash. I don't think I've ever had such an experience at a 4-star hotel!!!
Overall Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5) Location: Drama is the best way to describe this place. The hotel is situated in a completely remote area, making it difficult to get anywhere without using public transport or renting a car. Room Quality: The room was a hideous, dark place, dirty with mold, and nothing worked except the air conditioning. All the taps were leaking, the flush was leaking all night long, and there was no fridge. The room had a tiny TV with only five Italian channels, terrible beds with old spring mattresses, and no double beds—just two wooden beds that were falling apart. With a 3-year-old child, we were given a room opposite the disco, which started at 11 p.m. and ended around 2-3 a.m. Changing rooms was impossible due to full occupancy. Communication was a nightmare as the reception staff only spoke Italian. Cleanliness: Cotton buds were a constant mess, and I found only two public garbage cans in the entire hotel. The canteen was dirty, with hotel dogs wandering around and begging for food. The pools were cloudy, dirty, and not cleaned, making them unusable. Dining Experience: The canteen (not a restaurant) required guests to set tables themselves. Breakfast consisted mainly of cookies, hard-boiled eggs, and scrambled eggs. There were no vegetables, and the honey disappeared after one day. The presence of dirty, smelly dogs in the canteen was off-putting. The food quality was abysmal, and the canteen was filthy. Beach and Pools: The so-called beach was a narrow strip of black mud with stones. The braver guests camped on the stones. The two swimming pools were cloudy and dirty, with water that was supposedly warm, but I didn't dare to even wet my feet. Additional Amenities: Free powdered coffee in the canteen was undrinkable. Prices at the bar were exorbitant: EUR 2.5 for an americano and EUR 4 for a small beer. The hotel seemed to cater primarily to Italian summer camps and school children, who ran and shouted throughout the hotel until late at night. Service and Staff: The service was atrocious. The reception staff was impolite and only spoke Italian, making communication very difficult. They seemed uninterested in addressing any issues. Water Availability: The most shocking aspect was the lack of public water. Drinking water was available only at the bar or in the canteen during their limited opening hours. Outside of these times, guests had to rely on a vending machine behind the reception or a shop 500 meters from the hotel. This is unacceptable, especially in the heat of summer. Summary: This hotel does not deserve its 4-star rating. Everything was dirty, sticky, unpleasant, and impolite. It was a terrible experience, and I wholeheartedly advise against staying in this place. My trip with Rainbow was a disaster, and I will never return to this hotel. The lack of drinking water in a supposed 4-star hotel best reflects the hotel's focus on exploiting customers, knowing they have no alternatives. Avoid this hotel at all costs.
