Gitana del Mar Boutique Beach Resort

Spent a week here for a yoga retreat and it was magnificent. The hotel staff is fantastic, the place is beautiful, and the food is amazing. Food definitely surpassed all expectations. The first night I had a hard time sleeping since the room was too hot, but then I found a way to adjust the ceiling fan and the second night it was way better. On weekend nights there were parties in a nearby property with loud music late into the night, so you'll need earplugs. Going back to the staff, everyone made us feel at home. The massages were all amazing -- everyone that got a massage said they were 100% worth it. The bar by the beach was staffed by our bestie Luz, who was simply put a beautiful soul. The kitchen staff and the chef were very kind and accommodating, often going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Overall it was a magical experience and I'd return again with no hesitations.

An absolutely amazing experience, a week-long Chandra Vida yoga retreat (also highly recommended)-- the hotel is an idyllic place by the sea, quite magical. The staff are simply wonderful and the food was incredible. If you go, you must try the spa! Thank you so much for taking such good care!

Perfect place to explore Tayrona. Staff is fantastic and kind. Vibe is quality, peace and harmony. The food is addictive. The tours with Leo are first rate. The bartenders are fun and attentive. Yoga space is epic. Enjoy the sun and give back by doing a beach cleanup. We miss it already.
