Gladstone Motel Nelson

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this establishment, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The staff went above and beyond, being incredibly helpful, friendly, and exuding kindness throughout my stay. The place's cleanliness was top-notch, and I was impressed by the excellent room services provided. The comfort of the bed added to the overall delightful experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a welcoming and comfortable stay with outstanding service.

We were a tad disappointed with this Motel. The hosts were nice, and everything was clean, but the small details needed to be attended to. The sheets didn't fit. The toilet seat was too small. The blankets were thin, and the heater was difficult to use. Connecting to Wi-Fi, you needed a magnifying glass to read the white font. The TV was small by today's motel standards.

I stayed at Gladstone Motel, and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory: 1. The kitchen was infested with ants, and I even found a small spider, despite not using the kitchen or leaving any food or trash. The black sofa in the room had a strong, unpleasant odor. 2. The bathroom design is inconvenient and unsafe. Instead of a proper glass partition, there is only a pull-down plastic curtain. This resulted in water covering the bathroom floor after showers, making it very slippery. 3. The soundproofing is poor. Early in the morning, I was disturbed by the sound of neighboring doors opening and closing, people walking, and cars starting, which made it impossible to have a peaceful morning. If you can endure these inconveniences, then this motel might be an option. Otherwise, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. I hope the management takes action to improve these issues
