Hello there, My family would like to pay a visit to you Glamping site, but we are unsure how to secure a booking. We have 3 persons in total, me, my wife and my son (3 years old). The booking website only show the number of adults + the number of children over 6 years old. We would also like to have a bbq dinner.l, but since my son does not eat too much, can we just book two sets of dinner? Thank you very much in advance for your help. Anson
Very nice place.
I booked this place because I wanted to create some summer vacation memories for my kids. As soon as we arrived, we had free drinks and while the adults drank alcohol, the kids played with the playground equipment and made pizza and popcorn. It was a shame that we could only do two things, but the pizza was made in just a few minutes and the kids didn't get bored, and the freshly baked pizza was delicious, so it was a great experience. We brought some alcohol in a cooler, but we drank a lot of beer and highballs without worrying. During the BBQ, we tried to pick vegetables at the vegetable market, but there were no mushrooms left💦 I wish they had eggplants and other things. The only free drink the kids could drink was apple juice, so I wish they had orange juice, cola, Calpis, etc. We made a reservation for four more people and paid in advance for four people, but each time we used a room or tent, room wear, slippers, toothbrushes, towels, cups, and water were only prepared for three people, and there was no way we would have noticed it all at once at the beginning, so it was very troublesome to call every time we used it, and in the end it seemed to be a misunderstanding and lack of preparation at the reception, so that was the biggest minus. Also, the cutting board, knife, and cup used for dinner were all put away when breakfast was brought to us, and we had to call again, which was very inconvenient. They asked us what we would use it for, but it was too early to put it away. I would like to ask for such things after checking out. One more thing, we ordered dinner for two children, but it was placed on each seat like a bento, so the hungry children started eating it as it was. I think it was probably cooked once, but while we were eating it, we thought, "Eh? Raw? This should not be grilled!" I wish they had at least explained it. Also, in the evening, there was rice and water in the clay pot, so I thought it was dinner, so I cooked it, but it took a while to arrive even though I was hungry at breakfast, and when it did arrive, it was only the ingredients for sea bream chazuke. What is this! I asked the front desk, and they told me to cook the rice in the clay pot myself. I explained that I hadn't heard anything and that it was already there at dinner time, so I used that for dinner, and they gave me new rice, but then I had to light the BBQ stove and cook the rice in the clay pot... It took more than 30 minutes. . I had my makeup done and my hair done, so I was sweating again and wanted to take a bath, but I didn't have time 😭 I think I would have enjoyed it more if they had explained that in more detail. I would definitely use it again next year, but this time I'm thinking of staying overnight without meals. The woman at the front desk was very nice and had a smile on her face, but the male staff member who was doing the pizza making experience didn't smile at all and seemed to be reading a manual lol I felt that it would be better if he had a smile and a sense of humor because he was dealing with children. Oh, and about the lights in the tent, it gets pitch black when you turn them off, so we slept with them on. When I woke up in the morning, I noticed a lantern-like thing on the table across from the sofa. I wish they'd put up an explanation like that somewhere. I felt like there were a lot of things that were not explained well for first-time users. But the kids really liked it, so I'd like to make it an annual event. Please improve it. We went on the first day of summer vacation, but they hadn't done the shooting gallery or the super ball scooping yet. 💦 Next year, I hope they'll check when summer vacation is and do it from the first day.
