Glamping Resort Halicanum

We made the reservation last minute and had a wonderful weekend in Međimurje! Folks at Halicanum are awesome! Friendly, welcoming, kind and forthcoming! The breakfast, unlimited sauna and a wine tasting voucher were included in the price, along with the parking space. For a small additional payment you can have lunch and/or dinner at the restaurant as guests of the resort. The food was great, we got a lot of advice on what to visit in the area, and we enjoyed every minute of it. After we checked out, we went to Terme Sveti Martin to spend the day at the pool. Their entry ticket is oricey and you have to pay extra for the towels, and they didn't even have them. It was Sunday and everything was closed, so we couldn't buy them either. That's where Halicanum helped us! Borrowed us some towels and saved the day! Thank you guys, we'll make sure to come back again!

Place is great! Staff is kind, helpfull and avaliable. House is very clean, couzy and spacy. Each house has private sauna and bath tub on terrace which is nice touch. Breakfast is decent. Resort itself and area surrounding is peacefull what meaning of glamping is. Nearby is hiking track through the forest. Place is really worth comming back as a gataway from rush.

Overall, the houses look nice, the stay is quite pleasant. However, I would like to point out a few shortcomings - you will not fill the bathtub with warm water, it wasn’t even half full. While emptying the bathtub, some of the water ran down the terrace of the house. Also, the air conditioning system did not cool anything all afternoon, 28 degrees outside and the same inside the house. Maybe it was only broken in this unit. The sauna is also a bit of a hassle, I missed the thermometer in it, there were quite a few cobwebs. Inside the house, the cleanliness is ok, we stayed opposite the reception and restaurant and there was very little privacy. The food at breakfast is sufficient in quantity, but it was lacking in choice.
