Glasgow Marriott Hotel

We spent two nights here for the start of our Scotland adventure. We were given a nice room upgrade and found all of the staff super friendly and helpful. With our Marriott status breakfast was included and it was an excellent breakfast. All of the staff went above and beyond at the buffet. The lounge was a nice place to relax and have a few snacks. We did make a meal out of it for one night. We actually paid for three nights because we wanted to make sure we had a room when we arrived at 6am on our first day. The hotel made this easy and the communication to ensure our room would be available was great. We got a bit of a surprise two months after our visit. It was a 100 pound parking ticket. On our final day here we rented a camper van and brought it to the hotel and we parked it under the hotel front door awning. It was too large for any of the parking spaces (none were available anyways). We parked it here while we brought out things to the van and organized it before we hit the road. I called the hotel and explained the circumstances and they canceled the parking ticket for us. Many thanks!

Great location, comfortable stay, would return. Only 15 minutes from Glasgow Airport and about 45 minutes from Edinburgh Airport. The room was clean and spacious with a comfortable 5-foot bed. There was a slight smell in the bathroom at first, but good ventilation quickly solved it. Plenty of outlets for charging multiple devices. The rear car park usually has enough spaces, front desk staff were friendly, and the breakfast — though classic English — was well-prepared and actually quite tasty. Definitely a hotel I would stay at again.

Mixed business/tourist hotel not in the center of action. Parking 12£ was not bad considering we are in a city. A little tired property for a Marriott but still attractive. Room decor was on the cheap side even if not old. Bathroom was in a desperate need of renovation. The comfort overall was good and I can solidly recommend this property. Customer service excellent, very attentive and prompt, we requested ice and extra pillows and the arrived right away. Breakfast was included in our rate. Omelette station and many many options. Croissants exquisite and omelette too by the way.
