Glenmore Palms Motel

I booked this motel from New Zealand and couldn't have chosen a better place Amazing management nothing was too much trouble,housekeeping staff also excellent and did a thorough job We had a disabled unit which was more than adequate for our needs I would totally recommend this Motel to anyone Thank you for looking after us so well Daphne and Lynne

Fantastic venue for a person in a large vehicle. Plenty of parking out the front or next door behind the service station. Rooms are on the large size. Comfy beds . Perfect for a extended stay while you enjoy the area.

After reading the reviews we expected to find a modest clean room for an overnight stay. Unfortunately this isn't the case, modest? definately, clean? absolutely not. The entire unit is in dire need of a good clean, the walls are grubby, chipped and patched, it needs painting. The tiled floors need a good scrub. The shower cubicle is clean, as is the small recess to boil the jug and use the toaster, unfortunately the only power points are behind the microwave on the other side of the walkway. However no bench space available there, I found a point behind the bedside cabinet at almost floor level, so boiled the jug on the bedside cabinet. The refrigerator has what seems to be black dog hairs in it alongside a red ring of liquid left by a previous guest. The coffee cups, have attractive coffee rings in them and drips down the sides. I thankfully travel with a few basics , including mugs. The tray on which the cups etc are presented was dirty, with crumbs and dust. External paths and paving is dirty. Overall an unpleasant place. The lady on reception was nice.
