Glider City Motel Benalla

We arrived at the hotel a little earlier than planned, but the guy at reception didn't hesitate to give us our key. He also said if we needed anything to let him know. That was refreshing. Our room was spacious and very clean and quiet. The bath towels were large and fluffy and a couple of little extra touches were very welcome. Our bed was comfortable and a sofa and small dining table meant we could relax without lying on the bed and eat a meal without perching it on our laps. Everything about the property was neat and tidy and everything in our room worked and was in very good condition. The pool looked very inviting and while we don't usually use them if it was very hot I'd certainly consider jumping in. I did ask for a room far from the road and while that request was overlooked, it didn't really matter because of the sound-proofing on the windows meant road noise wasn't an issue. I would definitely stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend it. Thank you for a very pleasant stay. :)

We stayed one night in a family room. It was spacious, clean and well equipped. Good location off main road. Great to see usb charging options and environmentally friendly toilet paper!

So it is Benalla - rural Victorian town, and in this context this is a fabulous place to stay. So it isn't glam b'n'b, but is so comfortable & more than anything 'clean', the rooms are very roomy, the location means it's pretty quiet. The pool was a God-send in this town which is hot during summer, and Ricky who took out booking, welcomed us ..... is a quite lovely chap - sincere, calm & helpful. So - aircon, easily accessible in ground pool, very roomy rooms, windows that actually open with intact fly-wire screens, a lovely host and ..... did I mention......? how clean the place is. You won't be disappointed with your decision to stay here at Glider City was in Benalla.....
