Global Luxury Suites Downtown Boston

Very good location, cleanliness and building, but awful customer service. We had a 4 night stay with 2 adults and 2 kids. We saw some bad reviews, but most seemed to be in the past. We booked a one bedroom and our door was missing. We let them know right away but it was never resolved. The neighbour next to us also had their fridge not working and their issue was also never resolved. The pull out sofa bed was also the worst and they only offered to pay more money to bring in a roller bed.

We rented three rooms and were not able to get access. The 24/7 “emergency” service was nonexistent. We ended up having to scramble and book elsewhere last minute in order to have a reliable place to sleep. The (full size) bed and the (nonexistent) sofa bed were not as described. The only thing good about this place is the location, but good luck getting into the apartments. It was such a nightmare we ended up booking at local hotels and paying there as well and now we are trying to get our money back from global luxury suites which seems to be impossible, even though they did not provide the service as described. Do not be swayed by their beautiful pictures. It’s not worth the hassle by any stretch of the imagination we spent hours trying to get into our rooms. The Renaissance is at a wonderful location and is worth a couple of extra bucks

Booked a stay with these folk but then got pneumonia and couldn’t travel. Cancelled my reservation 72 hours in advance but they take the no refund very seriously and still charged me the full amount which was around $1,500. Would not recommend booking here as most organizations would understand you can’t travel with pneumonia
