Comfortable stay in a great location This was our first visit to Bulgaria, and we chose this hotel for its central location and easy walking distance to Vitosha Boulevard with its plentiful restaurants. It turned out to be a convenient and comfortable base for exploring Sofia. We arrived by taxi from the airport, and check-in was quick and easy. Our room was spacious and comfortable, though unfortunately, it did have a noticeable smell of smoke, which was a bit disappointing. One of the hotel’s highlights is supposed to be the spa with all-day access, but during our visit, both the sauna and steam room were switched off. Even after requesting them to be turned on, they didn’t heat up sufficiently during the full hour we spent in the jacuzzi pool. So if you plan to use the sauna or steam room, I’d recommend asking in advance so they have time to prepare them properly. Aside from that, it was a pleasant stay overall, with a great location and friendly service

Perfect location, less than moderate housekeeping services. The front desk people at night seemed to be on the job training. I have heard the morning staff talking friendly and asking about how their stay went to the European guests. But I felt a bit unwelcomed (maybe because of my nationality, I can't be sure). Spa area is relaxing, but hot vapor room was out of service. I stayed for four days in two different rooms. The first one was looking at the street. For a light sleeper it would be noisy. I didn't mind. The second room had a bath, not a shower. And it didn't have curtains, so it was challanging not to wet everywhere. I would stay there again only for its location. The price was reasonable. Don't expect too much.

Very kind and helpful staff. Location is great near city center. Option for car parking but I doubt a very big car could enter, also, the road access is not suitable for lower sport cars (very high curb). Rooms are just ok. The bathroom is very nice but the bedroom could use a refreshment especially when it comes to the mattress and lighting.
