Go Native London Bridge Bermondsey Street

We stayed here earlier in July for one night before we headed out for a cruise. The staff was very kind, helpful and friendly. We were very early checking in, but they gave us a room that was available so we could leave our bags and explore the city. As others noted the rooms are tiny (we joked about being able to bake cookies from bedside) but our room had everything we needed for one night. The bed was SO comfortable, which is what we weary, jet lagged travelers needed. The room and bathroom were spotless. I was initially concerned it would be too hot in the room because the hallway was very warm, but the AC in our room worked perfectly and kept us very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. So many fresh pastries and choices for breakfast! Everything was delicious and fresh. The neighborhood was perfect - a wonderful coffee shop down the street, followed by tons of small shops, cafes and restaurants. We loved walking around the area. It felt very safe. If I get to London again, I will definitely stay there again!

Nicely located property close to bus stops, eating joints, London Bridge. In the middle of hustle and bustle but still in a quiet neighbourhood. The residential suites are spacious but rooms need renovation. The gym is spacious and adjoining is the laundry room which is very useful. I will definitely recommend this hotel either for holiday makers or business visitors.

We decided on this because we are big Marriott fans and it was conveniently located to all the touristy spots and highlights on our itinerary. You can't beat the location because it's close to all the bus stops, SkyGarden, London Bridge, Vinegar Yard, Borough Market and Bankside. Staff was friendly and cheerful. While rooms tend to be smaller in Europe, these rooms are clean but the size of a mousetrap. While it provided a kitchen (including stove), it lacked so much storage space even for one large luggage and a carry on. Air conditioning is not adequate especially since we came during their summer heat wave. Luckily, they do provide free laundry but beware, it does not clean well. Our clothes got ruined and the dryer takes more than an hour to dry a simple load of light whites. Breakfast was included and provided decent choices. Prefer the patio seating; but it is close enough to great local spots if you prefer to dine elsewhere. If you are looking for convenience and being close to a cute neighborhood, stay here. Explore the Bermondsey area and it will make up for the smallness because you won't be staying in the room much!
