Gold Crest Hotel Arusha

Very nice hotel near central Arusha. Very good security. The gate guard used a mirror on a stick to check under our vehicle all around before letting us in. The hotel is beautiful inside and the grounds are well maintained. We didn't swim in the pool but it was clean and inviting. The rooms are large. Our bathroom was very small and difficult to maneuver in. Everything worked well. The air conditioning was perfect. Beds were comfortable. The shower was fantastic! Hot water and good water pressure.

Hotel is in a very busy location but the 2 different rooms I had were quiet. Tight security at both gates. Easy walk to coffee shops in the town centre. Outside the hotel has been newly painted and presents very well. Inside the rooms are slightly dated but are very clean. Beds were firm and comfortable. Each night an attendant comes to close the curtains , turn down the bed and spray for mosquitoes. The rooms are large. Rooms have a safe and a kitchen plus a lounge area plus high ceilings. Buffet style breakfast plus a chef to make egg dishes. Most nights dinner was a buffet but one night there was menu selection. Food was decent. The pool area has comfortable table and chairs. Staff are friendly and try to always help .

Would definitely come back and stay here again. The staff made the our stay extra special with attention to detail. The rooms are big and spacious. It's location also makes it a great pick. Walking distance to the city centre and close to Arusha Moshi highway for quick drive to the airport. Breakfast made an excellent start to our day. Wouldn't hesitate to recommended 👌
