Golden Beach Cha Am

Excellent place and great location. Very close to the beach, just only walk outside on the road it was the beach. Great swimming pool. Excellent service and friendly staffs and staffs were awesome and helpful. The breakfast was great. Had a lot of meals.

The room is spacious but the toilet is a bit small. WiFi connection is not strong. The hotel restaurant serves good food. The hotel staff are helpful. There is a 7-eleven shop within walking distance. Overall, value for money.

In three words, Cheap old and outdated. First, they painted the hotel in a terrible pink in my opinion. The rooms are old and pretty wide but are lacking in furniture. The ceiling makes you feel like you are staying at a highway side motel and the stains makes you know that this place is old. I paid 1600+ for a seaview room, the seaview was honestly disappointing and the hotels that have this price range are way better. Just go with IBIS or other resorts, you won’t be disappointed if you do. The hotel uses an old layout, one you would see at an ancient Hong Kong flat type layout. Most electronics are outdated and are usable to a minimum. Not to mention the worst of worst processing times for check-in, with unnecessary procedures and a mediocre lobby that is hot. This hotel makes you know what a bad layout is.
