Golden Coast

Excellent vacation! We spent one great week there (27.07.-03.08.2025), for me it was the best vacation I´ve ever had. The most beautiful sea, beautiful hotel, tidy rooms, but the best is Greek cuisine in hotel.. it was amazing. Dimitri with his team in restaurant and bar had always smile on their faces and they did great job every day. Very big respect to all of you.

From the moment we checked in, you could tell that the staff were genuinely happy in their work. We were greeted with a smile, and a lovely welcome. Given all of the information we needed about the hotel. The room for the 3 of us was clean, functional and the air con worked a treat! My daughter loved her own upstairs space on the mezzanine level. The hotel is right on the coast. A tiny pepply beach to one side and another tiny sandy / pepply beach to the other. Literally a few steps from the hotel. There are sun loungers a plenty, and not once throughout our stay did we struggle to get any. No ridiculous getting up early to place a towel on a sunbed here! Maybe due to the large numbers of sunbeds, but also I think due to the large variety of nationalities staying at the hotel. Actually, as an English family, it was refreshing to be very much in the minority! The food I think, was far better and more varied because of the different nationalities at the hotel. The swimming pool isn't big, but with the sea so close by, you have a choice. The staff at this hotel are superb. They work incredibly hard and very long hours. Yet, are always cheerful, friendly and helpful. The entertainment in the evenings varied from mediocre to ok.. but that's a personal preference. The majority of the European guests seemed to really enjoy it. There wasn't entertainment on every night. All inclusive is certainly the way to go at this hotel. It's in a quiet part of the island, but for a €2 per person bus journey from a bus stop to Zakynthos town, a few hundred yards from the hotel, you can get to the hustle and bustle within 35 minutes. A taxi back from town to the hotel for 3 of us was €25 which was good value. There a couple of tavernas not far from the hotel. We tried one of them, and the food was lovely and good value. If you want a full on party atmosphere with loads of nearby bars, this isn't the hotel for you. But if you want a beautiful view, stunning sunsets and a chilled atmosphere to relax in, this is definitely the hotel for you.

We spent our family vacation at Golden Coast Resort on Zakynthos and had a truly wonderful time. We stayed in a swim-up room, which was absolutely amazing — having direct access to the pool made our stay extra special and relaxing. The food was delicious and always fresh, with a great variety that suited all of us, including the kids. The staff were extremely friendly and professional, always ready to help and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to unwind and truly relax. We left feeling refreshed and already thinking about coming back. Highly recommended for families looking for a peaceful and high-quality holiday experience!
