Golden Donaire Beach

Absolutely amazing place to visit. After many stays here it never changes. Staff go above and beyond to help. They're all great with the kids. Entertainment and kids clubs cant be beaten. Food is always so tasty with a great selection for everyone. The location is perfect, on the beach, great views, lovely little local shops too. It's always very clean and well maintained. To be honest id say it's the best holiday iv taken my kids on and will definitely be going back in the future. I highly recommend a visit 👌

We stayed at the Golden Donaire for a vacation towards the end of May to early June. It was perfect for a relaxed beach holiday. The best thing about the hotel was it's location right on the beach. We took a sea view double room and literally couldn't ask for better views from the room and balcony. The room and the bathroom was spacious, neat and clean with excellent house keeping service every day. The staff at the front desk were really nice, efficient and helpful at check in and check out and also provided any additional information we needed; they even helped us hire a car to tour nearby areas. We had half board at the resort and really enjoyed the excellent spread at breakfast and dinner in a swanky dining area with also an option of outdoor seating by the beach. The food was great, with a lot of variety and no repetitions, but the overall quality could do with a bit of improvement. They also had excellent activities during the day and a new show every night which we quite enjoyed. They dont have any parking on site so we had to struggle a bit to find a parking spot in the nearby streets. The pool side is quite small and can get very crowded in a not so nice way. The bar is seriously lacking in quality. It's a good resort for families, especially with kids, and good value for money. We would definitely stay here again if we come to the region.

This was my first holiday away with my partner and I definitely made the right choice! We went all inclusive and the food was delicious, different dishes every night and a range of sweet plates, you go in find a table leave your card and go pick what you’d like. when coming back to the table the servers take your drink order within minutes of being sat down! the hotel itself is situated on a gorgeous beach, although I am a pool gal at heart. unfortunately that’s my downfall.. the pool is quite small for the size of the hotel and every morning all the Sunbeds were taken by towels & it was always full and the indoor pool was full of kids so we had no choice but to go to the beach everyday but thankfully it was beautiful! The sunbeds were pricey but that’s not a fault of the hotels but a little tip if you DO rent a Sunbed off the beach don’t pick one with a cushion if you don’t want to be charged an xtra 25 euros each!! The entertainment looked great but we didn’t attend because you have to go early in order to get a seat as it’s full. The staff at the hotel are all so lovely and were at hand if you had any questions. Overall our experience was a positive one and I’d definitely return :-)
