I was staying for 3 nights and here are the summary of my review. Overall I love it and really enjoyable. Pro's: - room spacious, my baby loves to run and walk and play in room - very strategic location, close to every town's point like restaurant, playground, zoo, cafe, etc. Real good for town vacation. Dago or Lembang also closeby. - room with carpet, my wife loves it - there is swimming pool for kids and adult, sauna, gym, spa - breakfast is good, if more than 100 persons they will spread the spot. If less than 100, breakfast will be centralized at the middle. I love the jambu as it is hardly see at other restaurant with same price Con's (it would be great if hotel can improve): - old hotel with classic touch, real deal at its era - room is not really clean, but it is fine for us, other newer hotel will be 2 or 3 times more expensive. Carpet can be changed or deep cleaned - hot water not stable, but it is okay in overall, I ever faced worse hotel than this - TV in room is old style (a bit darky), but big, my kid love to watch with it - phone is not working, call center through Whatsapp Definitely come again for another town vacation
Overall the vibes of the hotel presents itself to be a fancy hotel with the size and lobby facilities. However, some aspects of the room is a little outdated and needs fixing. For me the curtains didn’t close properly, bathroom door also couldn’t close properly. Despite that, it was still a comfortable stay.
My recent stay at Golden Flower Hotel Bandung was profoundly disappointing. I booked 4 (four) rooms, and the experience was marred by a series of unacceptable issues, reflecting a severe lack of service and maintenance. The check-in process was chaotic. A male staff member took an excessive six minutes to locate my booking, then abruptly left me with another staff member without explanation. This set the tone for the hotel's poor service. Upon entering our rooms, we discovered three were in a deplorable state: dirty carpets littered with hair, sweat-stained pillowcases, broken bathroom lights and toilets, non-functional telephones and room doors, and a non-working refrigerator. Bathroom amenities were also missing. Despite our complaints, the hotel's response was dismissive, citing full occupancy as an excuse for inaction. A simple request for replaced pillowcases went unfulfilled until 11 PM. The presence of green mold on the bathroom door, a clear sign of neglected housekeeping, was particularly appalling. Breakfast at the Lotus restaurant was another disaster. At 7:40 AM, all food was depleted. It took an astonishing 66 minutes to replenish just three fruit items, and other dishes remained empty, forcing guests to contend with scraps. This blatant disregard for guest experience was unacceptable. Check-out was equally frustrating. There was no concierge or bellboy assistance, and a reception staff member with thick glasses curtly told us to "just wait," leaving us stranded in the lobby. The basement parking was a nightmare: narrow, poorly ventilated, and riddled with pillars. Without parking attendants, our car sustained two deep scratches on the front left door. In conclusion, Golden Flower Hotel Bandung is a hotel to be avoided. The substandard facilities, incompetent staff, and lack of basic upkeep are inexcusable. The fees charged are in no way justified by the abysmal experience provided. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. Thank you
