The room was clean and appeared to have been recently renovated. The bathroom was spacious, though additional counter space would have been useful. The hotel’s décor had a distinctive and elegant feel, featuring a dark and golden color scheme—though personal preferences may vary. The location was excellent, within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and attractions in both downtown and the old town. Breakfast had a limited selection but included options such as scrambled eggs, bacon, warm vegetables, and stuffed croissants. The bed was on the firmer side, and in some areas, the mattress springs could be felt. The availability of electrical outlets was somewhat limited, and their placement was not always the most convenient. The staff was professional and available when needed, and some members, such as the junior receptionist and the waitress working on Sunday evening, stood out for their particularly friendly approach. For those who prefer a quiet atmosphere and minimal interaction, such as brief exchanges at breakfast or a simple ‘good morning’ from the receptionist, this hotel could be a great fit.

"An unforgettable stay. As in, I’m trying hard to forget it." Where to begin? Fantastic location. If your dream is to be woken up at 7 AM by a symphony of jackhammers and car horns, this is the place for you. The construction site across the street is clearly directed by Kubrick: rhythmic, obsessive, unsettling. Add the street traffic for that full immersive experience. And during the night... The best concert of voice under your Windows.... I had kindly requested a room on a high floor, far from the elevator. Naturally, I was given a room on the first floor (the lowest one with rooms — thoughtful touch!) right in front of the elevator. I open the door and expect the elevator to ask for my ID. Privacy? Never heard of it. Cleanliness? Let’s say it’s an abstract concept here. But hey, the dust was evenly distributed — at least they’re consistent with the minimalist vibe. Breakfast is a social experiment: the girls handling it in the morning greet you with the kind of enthusiasm usually reserved for tax audits. If politeness were optional, this place ran out years ago. But hey, nobody’s forcing you to work in hospitality, right? Bottom line: want to sleep, relax, be treated with kindness and have your requests respected? Great — pick another hotel. The area is full of places, often cheaper. But if you're a fan of urban discomfort and enjoy being ignored, by all means — book away.

Very nice-looking hotel and great location, but do NOT stay at this hotel. It does not have air-conditioning. The room was so hot that I couldn’t sleep. On the first night, I called front desk twice, but neither call was returned. Then, the following day, I spoke with the manager about it, and she did nothing. You can’t open the windows either because it’s way too noisy with all the cars outside. This place is poorly managed. With the buffet breakfast, most of the food and drinks don’t get refilled. The funny thing is, it wasn’t even busy — there were only two tables occupied.
