One big draw back not all rooms have a refrigerator or microwave. The rooms that do have these items are by request and gold club members...However, all the restaurants within the Casino serve generous amount of foods. It's great too. It's kind of a draw back not to be able to save it for later. Even so very much enough my stay.
It was a good price, but I guess you get what you pay for. The bathroom mat had a small yellow spot on it that looked like pee, and the glass doors had mold all around them. The balcony still had a cup of cigarette butts in it from I’m assuming a previous guest so it kinda made us feel like the room hadn’t been cleaned very well. All of the staff were super nice and very helpful with whatever we needed. The casino/food/pool areas are 10/10 but the rooms are very dated and could use a little sprucing up.
This was one of the worst hospitality experiences I’ve had at a resort and casino. The staff was rude, dismissive, and completely lacking in basic courtesy. No smiles, no greetings — just cold, uninterested service. At check-in, I was handed a room number with no explanation or guidance. It felt like I was an inconvenience for even showing up. To make matters worse, there was no valet or bellman available at 8:30 PM. That’s simply unacceptable for a resort that markets itself as a top-tier destination. We drove a long way and chose to stay here instead of the Golden Nugget lake Charles— where we’re regular guests — thinking we’d enjoy a fun stop along the way using a complimentary room offer. That was a mistake. Later that night, after spending hours gambling, I went to take a shower and discovered there was no hot water — not even lukewarm — and no body soap in the room. That level of neglect is inexcusable. Even for a comped stay, this property isn’t worth it. I wouldn’t stay here again if they paid me.
