Very clean. Staff welcoming and friendly. Very quiet. Great pool. Heated pool when it's cool outside! Facilities are so clean and well kept! So close to everything- rental cars, amusement park, grocery, gas, retail. Perfect location.
BUYER BEWARE. Thousand trails members get lowest available campsite that are so close you can here what is going on in neighboring campers. Rules have changed that members can only have access to standard or value sites (no sewer) leaving the elite and premium sites for outside customers paying per night. We have family that we're going to purchase and glad they didn't. We just upgraded to highest adventure membership but no upgrade on campsite choices. This new change hopefully will be communicated to potential new owners as we are really upset that we are being treated as second class citizens. At Tropical palms the sites are small, pool is full of unsupervised children diving and jumping in the pool along with no adherence to the quiet time rules making sleeping and enjoying your vacation difficult. Even security guard is not friendly and won't even raise the gate for you. So sad as this used to be a nice place. We are considering putting our membership on hold or maybe even selling it. I wish we never bought it.
What a colossal disappointment. We were so excited for our stay at Tropical Palms Kissimmee, especially since we're Thousand Trails members and assumed we'd be well taken care of. That couldn't have been further from the truth. Despite visiting in August 2024, a time when the campground was visibly slow with what looked like 85% of the sites empty, they gave us the most remote site possible. It was a site with no dump, forcing us with our four little kids under 10 years to constantly use the public facilities, which was incredibly inconvenient. We saw so many beautiful, full-hookup sites that sat vacant our entire stay, and it was baffling and frustrating that they wouldn't accommodate a member. It felt like they were deliberately trying to make our experience as inconvenient as possible. This is not the Thousand Trails experience we've come to know and love. We felt completely disregarded and unwelcome.
