Golden Phoenix Hotel Manila

Definitely coming back! The staff were very accommodating—from the guard, bellboy, front desk, to everyone else. The food was great too! Some reviews mentioned that the hotel lobby and hallways look old, but in my opinion, that’s really the concept—a classic Chinese hotel with gold and red themes. The room was spacious and clean. One of the best hotels in the area so far. Plus, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to MOA—super convenient!

From the moment we arrived, everything about our stay at Golden Phoenix Hotel was outstanding. The staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel right at home. The rooms were spotless, stylishly furnished, and incredibly comfortable—exactly what you want after a long day. But the real highlight? The breakfast buffet, it was absolutely phenomenal—every dish was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The variety and quality were top-tier. Special thanks to the culinary team for putting together such a memorable spread! If you're visiting the area, don’t miss out on this gem. Highly recommended—we’ll definitely be back!

The staff at Golden Phoenix Hotel Manila truly stood out, providing fantastic and very attentive service throughout our stay. Its location is undeniably a major advantage, offering an incredibly convenient 5-minute walk to both the SM Mall of Asia Arena and the SM Mall of Asia. This proximity was ideal for attending the Toto concert, which was our primary reason for choosing this hotel. We were also very grateful for the convenience of room service being available until 1:30 am after the concert ended late, as all the restaurants in the mall were already closed. The breakfast buffet offered a great start to our day with a wide variety of delicious options. On the other hand, our deluxe king room, while adequate, left something to be desired. Discovering a baby cockroach in the bathroom was certainly a negative aspect. Additionally, the absence of a vanity table with a mirror made preparing for the day less convenient. We were also disappointed to find out upon checkout that the freezer in our room was not working, which unfortunately resulted in our ice cream melting before we could take it home. The gym was also just okay; while you could still get a workout in, it lacked a treadmill and some of the equipment was broken.
