Golden Port Salou & Spa

Family of 3, 2 adults 1 teen. Really love the feel of this hotel, stayed 5 nights after 2 nights at Port Aventura. in hindsight, i would have happily stayed here and got a cab to the theme parks. Reception staff were always helpful and pleasant. rooms are nice and modern, We had a triple room. Great shower, we asked for extra blankets and received duvets, very happy. love that you can connect to Netflix Disney Spotify on the tv. Room came with kettle and you can ask reception to access ironing room. Great easy setup, I ironed a bunch of things while my family enjoyed the indoor pool. Pools were not too cold, the indoor pool was our favourite. Indoor jacuzzi is great for families, many times it was empty. The spa is completely separate, we didn't use it as the indoor pool and jacuzzi were perfect for us. There were always loungers free, the sun moves around the hotel, which forces people to move. The different pool areas make it feel quieter than it is. Love the water refill stations, 2 outside and at the bars. Food: we had breakfast only, enjoyable, no hot chocolate but usual tea coffee and herbal teas. daily beans omelette, sausages bacon, bread changes simetimes they had burgers churros, pancakes. yoghurt flavour changes daily, nice toppings for cereal and muesli. Gluten free options readily available. lots of variety. Good pool menu. Nice cocktails. Tried the chicken wings, nice. Best ceasar salad I have EVER had! chips really nice,  but pizza was a bit doughy. there is a small shop to the right of the hotel, small cafe and restaurant too. The strip is a quick 10 to 15min walk where you'll find the restaurants bars clothes shops arcades etc and the beach too. We took a cab from hotel to the bus stop for a transfer to the airport. Really easy to do, just buy your ticket at the Jaime kiosk before the bus arrives. qe bought ours a few days before. You can also catch a local bus or the tourist tram to explore further. Great place for solo travel, couples, friends and families. I will definitely be back and recommending to clients.

The best hotel in Spain! We had an absolutely amazing stay — this hotel exceeded all our expectations. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and varied every day. The staff were incredibly friendly, always greeting us with a smile and going out of their way to make us feel welcome. What really touched us was how wonderfully they treated our baby. They had a fantastic attitude toward children and were more than happy to prepare special food for our 7.5-month-old — without any salt or spices, just as we requested. That kind of thoughtfulness means the world to parents traveling with a baby! The rooms were spotless, cleaned thoroughly every day, and very comfortable. Everything about this hotel made our holiday truly special. We can’t wait to come back — highly recommended to anyone, especially families with small children!

Just home from an absolutely amazing week in this hotel, I could not fault it. The rooms were spotless, cleaned every day. The food was excellent, a great selection for everyone adults and children. We loved all the pools outdoor and indoor pool and there was never a problem getting a sunbed. Location was perfect. I would highly recommend this hotel, we can't wait to go back again 🙂.
