Golden Rock Beach

This hotel is lovely however first couple days I had issues with the food with being gluten free. But they did sort it out and the entertainment team are lovely and always make you free welcome. I would definitely come again in the future. Only downside were the alcohol options wasn’t great. But overall it’s a great hotel!!! Nico and Martin!! Debbie and rose!! Wow never had a better experience with an entertainment team then with hotel.

A long review follows but we feel the hotel deserves it! We have just returned from a 12-day stay at this brilliant hotel and felt compelled to share our experience. The hotel itself is exceptionally well kept and clean. From the reception staff to the bar staff, housekeeping and restaurant staff, everyone was very helpful and incredibly friendly. The pool area was immaculate, always clean and well managed. We never once had a problem finding a sunbed, which is rare these days and made our days by the pool all the more relaxing. Our hotel room was spotless, spacious and extremely comfortable. Housekeeping came daily, and each member of the team greeted us with warmth and a smile. The absolute highlight of our holiday was the entertainment. It was, without exaggeration, exceptional. The entertainment team worked tirelessly to engage with all guests, taking time to stop by for chats and making everyone feel welcome. Boris, Lera, Zarina and Mete were great fun! We were particularly charmed by Rose, Debbie and especially Niko, who truly made our son’s holiday (and ours too) extra special and one to remember. It was genuinely hard to say goodbye to them! Every evening, the performances put on were the best we have ever seen in any hotel, with something spectacular to enjoy every single night. As for the food, we were blown away by the freshness, variety and flavours available. From breakfast to lunch, afternoon snacks by the pool and dinner, the choice was endless – casserole, grilled meat and fish, salads galore, fresh bread, eggs, omelettes, fresh melons and other fruits, so many different desserts, pizza, pasta, baked potatoes, kebab, chips and the best crispy fried chicken we have tasted in a long time. Every single day we were spoilt for choice and left each meal with plates full of delicious food. We had a truly fantastic holiday and we are already looking forward to coming back. This hotel gets everything right, we really couldn’t fault anything, from spotless rooms and immaculate grounds to exceptional staff, entertainment and food. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

Nice all inclusive hotel, although not quite 5* in my opinion. Super friendly and attentive staff all round the place. Room was a little dated but very clean and well stocked. Paying extra to use the in-room safe felt very sleazy, IMO this should be included as standard. Food was decent although became repetitive by the end of a week, and sometimes a strange mix of dishes on offer. Plenty of choice though so it does offer something for everyone. All inclusive drinks were fine, cocktails were a bit limited but very generous pours. Pool was fine but often very busy, the usual towels on sunbeds by 7am, so we spent most of our time at the private beach which was generally quieter. Entertainment wasn't great, very quickly became repetitive and would help if they rotated through a few playlists rather than playing the same songs every single day! Overall a great value stay, definitely not 5 stars but certainly a solid 4 and would recommend for more budget-concious travellers.
